  1. Could you please, for once and for all, realise that the world is a lot bigger then just America. You might have tap water that contains fluoride. We don't. It is safe to drink here. Which is an exception, as most of the world doesn't have any clean drinking water. Look at a map once in a while and you see that there is a lot more going on in the world then the bloody U.S.A!

      then concern yourself

      Fluoride isn't the only pollutant….

If you live in USA why not be more concerned with USA than say Israel unless if you are zionist then never mind USA.

    4. But in Europe they fluoridate the table salt. Six of one, half a dozen of the other.

    5. Were you attempting to write: "Could you please, once and for all, realiZe that the world is a lot bigger THAN just America."???

  2. This is just a slick add for a water filter that is miss leading

It's actually all true, not sure what's misleading…

    Great article thank you.

  4. I filter fluoride & all other junk from my water and I feel much better thanks to it.

Stupid is not quite the same as unaware,so he is serious and the problem is serious so we must be serious as it is health concern of high order.

  6. @Jamesplayfair. ell i've been to America mate and am from the UK and as much as many people in Europe are very unintelligent and are 100% dunded down this was nowhere near to the extent with my experience with some American's, who were 'different' docile and soo passive, but in a weird way. As for the article, yes water filtration is an essentail thing we all should be doing no matter where we live. The article is a slick ad for the filter devices but that still does'nt make the point any less releveant.

Not that slick, I don't think they were trying to be, but… I always welcome a good solution that can help with the undeniable issues with our waters.

  7. Frank Jass says:

There's only one problem, Flouride is NOT removed with these filters

    1. Frank,

You speak out of ignorance. I am well learned in the science of chemistry, and can attest that after checking out the media they use, the filters are capable of removing fluoride.

What are you basing your assumption on if anything more than ignorance?

  8. Lynn Bailey says:

Although I am not familiar with this water filter, I suspect that it is not high quality nor will it last. The best machine on the market is the KANGEN water machine by Enagic. This machine was developed in Japan more thatn 25 years ago and is recognized as a medical device in that country.

    1. Anonymous says:

Thanks Lynn, but who do you think has $1000 bucks in this economy to dish out on a machine that artificially charges the water with electricity and does not work in emergencies?

    2. I think there are several models that are relaible and good and don't cost as much as $1000. They recomend the ones that do it with Osmosis… or something like that. I don't know much about it.

  9. how does the Big Berkey compare to this filter advertised here ?
