Not only is it a powerfully refreshing drink to start off your day, but water with lemon in the morning can help to accelerate natural and healthy fat loss in addition to boosting your overall immune function. What’s more, is that it is extremely simple to prepare — even easier than the typical morning cup of coffee.

Realizing the Benefits of Lemon Water

The hydrating power of pure water is largely beneficial on its own, but when matched with a few slices of nutrient-packed lemon, warm lemon water can empower your health through boosting your energy, improving digestion, and even be a powerful ally in your quest for natural fat loss. Warm lemon water has actually been used as a Yogic or Ayurvedic ritual to eliminate something known as ‘ama‘, which is the harmful ‘slime’ that builds up in the gastro-intestinal, or GI, tract.

Water with Lemon – Detoxify and Strengthen with Warm Lemon Water

Warm lemon water is also known for its ability to directly stimulate and detoxify the liver, which is one of the most damaged organs in modern society as a result of toxic additives, hazardous chemicals, and excessive alcohol consumption. Some experts, like author A.F. Beddoe who wrote the book Biological Ionization as Applied to Human Nutrition, also believe that the liver produces more enzymes in response to water with lemon than to any other food.

High in the super nutrient vitamin C and potassium, lemon water can also reduce life-shortening stress. Leading to a clear mind and enhancing nerve and brain function, the potassium intake first thing in the morning via warm lemon water can absolutely make the difference in your day. And if you’re feeling sick, the beverage is a great home remedy for sore throats and congestion; vapors coming from the warm lemon water help loosen buildup.

So what’s the best way to prepare water with lemon? It’s absolutely crucial that you prepare the lemon water at home, instead of store-bought lemon juice products. Juice products on grocery store shelves are oftentimes loaded with large amounts of sugar, have depleted nutrient levels, are pasteurized, and will not offer the same benefits. Using high quality organic lemons, simply squeeze one half to one whole lemon into a glass of pure, warm water. Try consuming the entire glass each morning before breakfast, and measure the results.

Warm lemon water is a delicious way to improve your health, detoxify your body, and remove unwanted fat.

Unused used to give entire family this lemon water each morning, plus halibut liver oil capsule. My children didn’t get the easonal colds and flu. They were sent home from school because there weren’t enough students to hold classes.

Great! I've been thinking of drinking Lemon water first thing in the morning for some time now. My only question: can it be prepared in advance and stored? Of course I plan to store it in a glass container, but I am still concerned: If I store it, will it lose some of its awesome properties?

I wonder how these findings translate to Limes and lime water. I don’t want to end up a ‘limey’ sailor, but I do prefer Limes to lemons.

Boil the water first to kill any bacteria. Then let it cool, so as not to cook the vitamins and amino acids out of your poor little lemon that you spent money on. When the water is warm to cool, put the lemon in it and drink. No sugar. Yes, the one above will ensure that whatever bad stuff is left in the water will not touch you because you are doing the best you can. In fact, if you continue to do the best of your ability, sometimes a new door opens up, and you may find better water. I use distiller water in gallons from the
Grocery store. Read anything from Dr. N. W. Walker, he suggests distiller water. It is uniformly pure, unlike bottled water which maybe a ripoff.

      Sorry I meant distilled water.

Its also a natural diuretic. I tried it when my doctor said was getting too much diuretics and its wasn't helping the fluid retention problems, etc. If you partially freeze lemon, then run under warm water while squeezing it you'll find it easy to peel by hand. I then cut in fourths and squeeze and drop into a large water glass of purified water and this I drink out of throughout the day- Adding water as needed. I also eat the fourths, too. I use no sugar although some might like some Stevia. I like the tartness. I also use extra strength robotics with turmeric. and this together seem to be helping. I go for lab tests next month and hopefully there will be improvement. I've read that lemon is also an anti-bacterial and this is helpful also. i had used lemon juice in the past, without the same results. There seems to be an oily component with the real lemon that's missing in the lemon juice that's bought. Linda Joy Adams ( not a doctor, just a patient)
