  1. Spare a thought for those poor law enforcement folk who have become addicted to supplementing their income with kickbacks and the on-selling of undeclared percentages of busts. This happens far more than folk realise, with some depts. the practise has become informnally institutuionalised. No more war on drugs for them means hardship and life style sacrifice!

      Good point
      There’s also the prison industrial complex to bear in mind. It would suffer terribly if the war on drugs ended.
      And let’s not forget that hemp is a super fuel – http://www.hemp4fuel.com/
      And keeping cannabis illegal means that claims about its medicinal properties, especially its anti-cancer properties will never be scientifically proven.
      So there are lots reasons to keep it illegal
