  2. Hey there great stuff. This sentence makes it sound like people should be getting more Omega 6 than 3 is that true?
"1. Balance your omega-6 to omega-3 ratio; the ideal ratio is close to 3:1."

  3. one of the main things to do to stop inflammation is stop eating any wheat product. That means candy, as most has wheat added, anything with wheat. Take no statin, if you stop eating anything that has wheat in it your cholesterol will drop, as will your blood pressure.

  4. Any suggestions for bladder issues such as cystitis? I have tried many supplements and due to the pain and discomfort now am taking pharma.

  12. Max Van Rooij says:

The only way to get enough omega-3 oils is FISH(OIL). Our body can only use the DHA form of it. Omega-3 from plant derived sources contain only ALA and this has to be converted in our body to DHA where only a small percentage will be converted. ALA is far not enough to bring back the balance to the omega 3 / 6 ratio.
I am a bit amazed that in this article nothing is mentioned about linoleic acid. Vegetable oils contain a lot of linoleic acid. Too much linoleic acid will be converted to arachidonic acid causing the prostaglandin type 2 to increase. PG2 is an important factor of excessive inflammation reaction.
BTW olive-oil is healthy because it contains omega-9 (mono-unsaturated fat); it does not contain omega-3.

  13. modern mom says:

Joint pain, arthritis and cystitis are all aggravated by compression of the nervous system. Upper cervical chiropractic adjustments gently relieve pressure on the nerves that supply the body, allowing it to heal itself.
