  1. I think one thing we should be more precise about is to define the carbs we want to exclude or minimize. Strict keto for example excludes all carbs, which in my opinion is no way to go long-term. Low carb defined as exclusion of refined/processed carbs on the other hand is sustainable, not only because we shouldn’t crash our livers but also because we want phytonutrients and fiber for health – neither proteins nor fat contain these and without them we’re essentially losing the health battle long-term.
