This really makes me mad. Especially when someone then comes along and says that this is a “devastating indictment of the industry”
So basically, he’s saying the whole industry is defunct because these large mega-corporations aren’t doing the right thing. Grrrrr!

  2. OK – so how can we find trusted sources ….

  3. blank Kelly Vaughn says:

So what companies do you recommend to buy from?

  4. Hey. The testing was flawed. The person doing the testing had never done testing on botanicals. DNA testing doesn’t work on botanical extracts. Thanks for helping to mislead the public and erode trust in natural medicine.

First of all, why was the New York State attorney general’s office involved in this? Why were they the ones to “expose” this..instead of the U.S. FDA?
What made them decide to investigate this in the first place?
Notice how the major retailers reacted? Instead of asking for proof, they simply caved-in and went on the defensive. What wusses!
    Give us “proof: not “BS”!

  6. What good does this article do us if it does not mention the BRAND NAMES of the offending supplements? WHICH ONES were bad? This is simply scare tactics to promote more government control of the herbal supplement industry and of no help at all!

  7. So grateful that Plexus Slim is not sold in stores and is 100% natural! Once you try it you will never go back!

  8. Do your research? How exactly do you do that if you can’t afford to send your supplements to a lab for analysis? How do you know who to trust?

How funny!!! Is it possible in USA? Because the law and order situation is good there. How the fake producer entered there GNC, Wal-mart, etc. ?

    1. A lot of herbal supplements don’t require FDA approval so they can slip through the cracks easily.

  10. WELL………….. WHAT BRANDS ARE OK TO TAKE MIKE BARRETT?
