Backslide: Dow and Dupont Get a Green Light to Grow GMO Corn in EU
(NaturalSociety) While it isn’t Monsanto getting away with murder this time around, Dow and DuPont Chemical companies have been given a seal of approval by the European Union to grow their GMO corn. The vote which took place that could have vetoed the proposition lost 19 to 28, with 4 member states abstaining from voting. This means only five states wanted GM corn, but the way the weighted voting system is set up in the EU, the Commission is now obliged to pass the GMO crop initiative.
Without a negative qualified majority against the proposal the Commission says it will pass it, according to the Health and Consumer Policy Commissioner, Tonio Borg.
Germans who didn’t want GMO crops in their country are furious at their representatives from abstaining to vote, since their single vote would have made a difference. Peter Simone from the Green’s said:
“Today the Federal government missed an historic opportunity to be a clear voice against genetic engineering in Europe. The approval of genetically modified maize on European soil puts genetically modified food on consumer’s plates. Almost all Germans oppose that.”
Several other countries in Europe already allow GMO crops, but more have resisted Dow, Monsanto, DuPont, and other companies from taking a stronghold in their neck of the woods.
This GMO corn strain will be grown in a 28-nation bloc even after 13 years of resistance and, several scientific challenges that the genetically modified food is safe, and two legal challenges.
Approval to grow these reprehensible seeds in the EU rests only on a formality now, the go-ahead of the EU Commission, and the bloc’s executive arm, but politicians in the EU are refusing to give a timetable for that. Perhaps with enough push back from impassioned citizens, there is still hope to keep it from taking over all of Europe.
We shall be voting ourselves OUT OF THE EU in 2015.

Democracy is when the chosen few get to vote. Not the masses. However, if the masses do get to vote (with a vote that supposedly counts), it’s either manipulated by BS’ing the voters or rigging the outcome.

Yes, it’s sad.. the chemical companies must feel they have won in North America.. and now they expand their death campaign to Europe. This is nothing short of war. Somehow the Saudi’s don’t have GMO grown in their continent, yet Africa has been destabilized (a power technique)
Had the chem food giants pushed for transgenetic barley , I’m sure German representatives would have resisted brivery , blackmailing , and economic backlashes …did you know that four of the five countries that voted in favor of the growing of GMO corn actualy do not or cannot grow it in thier territories ?
Transgenetic seeds are being sold to amateur gardeners by mega distributors …who are either unaware of the risks or just don’t care … But don’t worry , imported pesticide laden freiken foods will remain avalable in any mega food distribution centers in France that includes cancer causing colorants artificial sweeteners, type 2 diabetes inducing fructose made from gm corn and a plead of gm soy products such as letchin( the soy products mimic estrogen and the letchins contain glycophosphates; as well as gm soy fed livestocks like dairy cows turkeys chikens the chiken feces fed pigs ; tit pus filled cheeses ( they smell bad and taste salty),let’s not forget the the cheap wines loaded with sulfites >irritates the kidneys & causes high blood pressure , mined salts & iodines * you can still buy the infamous norway salmonds > systemic pesticide residues ,red tuna > methyl mercury , indonesian shrimps chem coctails and all of the American junk foods including celulose icecreams and ground chines human hair in your frozen pizzas ..sorry , but there should be no more high sanitary rick horse meat …you may rest assured because if ever anything kills you or your friends too quicky, it will be remouved from public use no sooner than 1 month after the recall or until stocks are depleted …:)

The Germans all know better….their relatives are here in the USA working in the labs that make the formulas for this science project. Monsanto, Obozo, and the rest of the political hacks need to spend the rest of their days in a damp cell eating GMO’s…..and if they get sick, vaccinations all day long.

Lets stay informed on the non gmo actions ruled out in Yucatan,Mexico, Judge who stopped the planting of monsanto genetic soybeans Aug 2014 in order to protect bee farmers and honey productions for his people.
Germany, you do NOT want GMOs grown in your country. Not only is it an attempt to enslave food plants to specific corporations, the legalese is such that they will end up sueing non GMO growers when the GMO poison crops spread into their land. It is very evil, as I’m sure most people know. Fire the people who voted for this. And praise those who voted against! I’m sure they were put under a lot of pressure to vote yes, and be glad they stood for the health of the country by voting no. Do not allow your politicians to sell you out like in America! Although the EU generally is kinda a sham, so look at who backed that and you will find your globalist who own Dow and Dupont.
