I’ve noticed that when many (young) people get on a public bus, they’re either already talking on their smartphones or, once seated, immediately whip the thing out and start in on the finger action. Also, when they approach somebody on the street they quickly lower their heads and concentrate on their little toy-toy rather than, god forbid, smile or nod at the other pedestrian. So sad…I figure this is their way of avoiding eye contact. Eyeballs scare them?

    1. So, what I can deduct from that is that if they’re looking down, then a set of balls doesn’t scare them. But since they won’t look up, they must be scared of eye balls, showing that they are comfortable with some types of balls, and not with others…..

This is also why if you go into any store, the 20-something droid that is employed there has no clue about anything, so don’t bother trying to get any information out of it. You are better off finding it yourself. It will be faster than trying to communicate to someone who has no There there.
