cornonspoon 235x147 Top 10 Worst GMO Foods for Your GMO Foods List

Genetically modified foods (GMO foods) have been shown to cause harm to humans, animals, and the environment, and despite growing opposition, more and more foods continue to be genetically altered. It’s important to note that steering clear of these foods completely may be difficult, and you should merely try to find other sources than your big chain grocer. If produce is certified USDA-organic, it’s non-GMO (or supposed to be!) Also, seek out local farmers and booths at farmer’s markets where you can be ensured that the crops aren’t GMO. Even better, if you are so inclined: Start organic gardening and grow them yourself. Until then, here are the top 10 worst GMO foods for your “do not eat” GMO foods list.

GMO Foods List: Top 10 Worst Foods

1. Corn

One of the most prominent GMO foods, avoiding corn is a no-brainer. If you’ve watched any food documentary, you know corn is highly modified. “As many as half of all U.S. farms growing corn for Monsanto are using genetically modified corn,” and much of it is intended for human consumption. Monsanto’s GMO corn has been tied to numerous health issues, including weight gain and organ disruption.

2. Soy

Found in tofu, vegetarian products, soybean oil, soy flour, and numerous other products, soy is also modified to resist herbicides. As of now, biotech giant Monsanto still has a tight grasp on the soybean market, with approximately 90 percent of soy being genetically engineered to resist Monsanto’s herbicide Roundup. In one single year, 2006, there was 96.7 million pounds of glyphosate sprayed on soybeans alone.

3. Sugar

According to NaturalNews, genetically-modified sugar beets were introduced to the U.S. market in 2009. Like others, they’ve been modified by Monsanto to resist herbicides. Monsanto has even had USDA and court-related issues with the planting of it’s sugarbeets, being ordered to remove seeds from the soil due to illegal approval.

4. Aspartame

Aspartame is a toxic additive used in numerous food products, and should be avoided for numerous reasons, including the fact that it is created with genetically modified bacteria.

5. Papayas

This one may come as a surprise to all of you tropical-fruit lovers. GMO papayas have been grown in Hawaii for consumption since 1999. Though they can’t be sold to countries in the European Union, they are welcome with open arms in the U.S. and Canada.

6. Canola

One of the most chemically altered foods in the U.S. diet, canola oil is obtained from rapeseed through a series of chemical actions.

7. Cotton

Found in cotton oil, cotton originating in India and China in particular has serious risks.

8. Dairy

Your dairy products may contain growth hormones, since as many as one-fifth of all dairy cows in America are pumped with these hormones. In fact, Monasnto’s health-hazardous rBGH has been banned in 27 countries, but is still in most US cows. If you must drink milk, buy organic.

9. and 10. Zucchini and Yellow Squash

Closely related, these two squash varieties are modified to resist viruses.

The dangers of some of these foods are well-known. The Bt toxin being used in GMO corn, for example, was recently detected in the blood of pregnant women and their babies. But perhaps more frightening are the risks that are still unknown. Even while these foods should be on your GMO foods list so that they are avoided, you can buy 100% organic to be safest.

With little regulation and safety tests performed by the companies doing the genetic modifications themselves, we have no way of knowing for certain what risks these lab-created foods pose to us outside of what we already know.

The best advice: steer clear of them altogether.

We can ignore GMO and it's foul bedpartner glyphosate at our peril, and with the added help of fluoride, aspartame and outrageous quantities of unbound glutamic acid, morph ourselves into the medically helpless idiots the system is banking so heavilly on – or we can try eating organic for a week, and learn some sense of what our bodies expect from us.
You might be shocked to learn the difference.
Eating right for your blood type can also be very helpful, especially now that we're in "allergy" season. My "allergies" were no longer a factor, once I tried the blood-type diet. I can follow it to whatever extent I feel is necessary, without giving up my favorite avoids, such as potatoes, so long as I get my beneficals, such as grass-fed beef. (I'm a type O)
BTW, potatoes were not mentioned on the list of dangerous GMOs, and surely they should be.

“Health is a state of complete harmony of the body, mind and spirit. When one is free from physical disabilities and mental distractions, the gates of the soul open.”

  3. Theresa Jean says:

Well read this link I don't think there are any lies about the crops here http://www.occupymonsanto360.org/2013/01/23/regul
Also sugar and high fructose corn syrup ARE carcinogens!!!

Here is another site that will tell you about it and it is not bogus in any way, there is a lot of info but its worth the read!!! The ones that want to keep eating crap be my guest!!!

  4. I think Nature will fight back…..Karma…..See I read the other day that a group of women in Nairobi developed natural immunity to HIV virus….which is presumed in our circles to be genetically modified…..I have something to tell those obtuse, impervious people…..The island killed Dr. Moro at the end…………….Wake up

  5. Nightlyt says:

Is there any types of these items that are safe? Heirloom seed corn? Cane sugar?

  6. Exercising will help improve your social life. This something that we all want to strive for, because, not only will it help you feel good about yourself, but it will also help improve your sex life and help strengthen you marriage relationship.

  7. lilly says:

The irony, as I see it, is that, often, the weeds that agriculture wants to kill are healthier for us than the crop that’s grown. The solution then? Eat the weeds. I think nature has a loud voice.

  8. Ric says:

Knowledge, is the best combatant for gmo. investigate the issue for yourself. search it out and beleive me, its not as easy as that. alot of road blocks. Knowledge is your best friend in this case, then you decide for your self.

  9. WheatIsDangerous says:

Wheat REALLY needs to be mentioned here as a GMO food. The VAST majority of the world's wheat crop has been genetically modified to increase yielde per acre – they call this "dwarf wheat", and is an entirely different type of wheat than what our ancestors used to eat. Please (I'm begging you), read "Wheat Belly", and pass on everything you learn. Modern "wheat" is as dangerous, if not moreso, than corn or soy. It's, I'm absolutely convinced, what is making people sick and fat worldwide – we can solve this problem, but the word must get out.

  10. Definitely GMO foods too useful and super-duper article. this similar foods you will get our site. so you can check out our best soy sauce.

  11. Sheila says:

I believe that God knows more than any scientist. Food should be what God created for the purpose of feeding people and animals. Chemicals, pesticides and weed killersare not made for human or animal consumption. The human body was not made to process these chemicals.

I’m trying to raise two healthy twin boys over here in the USA and I’m am frightened and scared by the legal strength this country has to destroy our children’s future. This country allows too many health risks. From passing laws to fource families and public schools to vaccinate with no rights and no fight if any damage accurs from that. If you do your home work before vaccinating you will become a buyer and you will beware of the junk and cancers found in these vaccines. But this country took away our rights of BUYER BEWARE. My heart crys every time I step into a major grocery store and see a rainbow of GMO FIRUT! It is so dangerious to price shop in the US because all the GMO foods are in the low price point items… Then… You go for the “organic” over priced items and learn those are GMO!!! It takes me two hours to shop at a local major chain grocery store when I’m alone and it takes me 4 hours to shop when the twins are with me. My biggest wish as an American… Born and unhealthy raised that GMO be banned or if the Lawyers/ Lawmakers keep minpulating the system then my wish and dreams as a free American is that GMO labels fill the isles and shelves so I can take my hard working HIGH tax paying money to the items that will help me raise 2 strong healthy MEN so I may have a better jean future not a mutated jean future of CANCERS, DEPRESSION, MURDER SUICIDES AND POOR EDUCTION IN A HECILY VACCINATED PUBLIC SCHOOL.

  13. Emily says:

I think you forgot to add bananas… but it's important to note that if bananas weren't genetically modified, they wouldn't be edible in any way. The grand majority of citrus fruits are also modified, according to a university researcher whose job concerns creating healthier, more appealing fruit. You guys really don't like Monsanto it seems. I think someone is a little biased.

    • Anonymous says:

I think you should search up the scientist who discovered gm foods and as a result were fired, blacklisted and threatened to be asassasinated. I think these people have but more knowledge than you. Also may I add if gm foods were a healthy way why is it not labeled? Wouldn’t they want to promote gmfoods?

    • Kathy says:

Maybe you're confusing breeding by controlled pollenization vs. gene splicing. We are talking Genetically Modified Organisms – which is a laboratory vs. field production. I see organic bananas on the market all the time, and by virtue of being the definition of organic it can't be a gene spliced food (GMO). The problem with the GMO they are being developed to withstand high pesticide useage which is killing our environment.

    • IcelX says:

You truly are naive! Here in Calif, the Labeling of GMO foods was struck down, only after Monsatan infused the ‘democratic process’ with millions of dollars and deceptive ad campaigns. The ‘scientists’ whom endorsed the ‘no on 37′ prop, where bought and paid for. Do your homework before sprouting off on biases please. In America, we can no longer blindly follow what the media sells us. It’s all propoganda to help this oligarchy maintain profits at the consumers expense.

    • Tesa says:

Why is it when an oppositeawesome opinion is posted along with facts to back them up it is considered bias?

    • Jan says:

Emily….I think you are getting a wee bit mixed up with trait selection techniques which farmers have practiced for thousands of years OUTSIDE of the laboratory and without the aid of a GENE GUN to insert unrelated DNA crossing the species barriers. Not surprising as the GM Industry has deliberately used the terminology 'genetically modified' instead of 'genetically engineered' as it sounds less benign…and I guess from you comment it seems to have worked.

  14. PATIZ says:

We have to eat grass feed meat. Eat organic fruits and vegetables, or grown from non-gmo seeds. Filter our water. Use organic household products. Take natural supplements without additives. Exercise daily. Get 6 to 8 hours of sleep. Whew, I am overwhelmed …guess I'll go to bed. : )

  15. notagraveyard says:

Dont forget all the gmo corn foods that are fed to all the factory farm animals, doesnt that make them gmo whether they get the BGH or not? Plain and simple, I do not wish for myself, nor my family, to be MONSANTOS lab rats!

  16. Iris says:

I am proud of my country they have a 10 years banned genetically modified foods; but my problem is that I don't live there anymore; I live in Miami; Florida

    • shay says:

Thanks for a touch of humor in this heated conversation. I live in Miami too and can attest to the fact that it is NOT part of the USA. As an aside, I just saw my cardiologist who enjoys a fine reputation and she put me on a gluten-free diet as wheat is one of the worst GMO offenders. She has found that CRPs in her patients dropped after being gluten-free after only 3 months. Seems that GMOs, in her learned opinion, contribute greatly to the inflammatory processes in our bodies…..ie. cardiovascular and joints in particular. I'm taking her advice.

  17. Love says:

We are not victims! We have the power! Tomorrow… I'm starting a site where the people will label the foods themselves.

I will create GMO Labels and you can download and print and go to the store and start labeling the foods… fuck the government!

  18. Madhavi says:

I prefer to adhere to my own common sense and best judgement, so I don't "gasp" at anyone who is attempting to diminish the message that "GMO's are dangerous to your health and that there are no proven health risks, or that there's really nothing to be done about it, so just accept it."

Matter of fact, I view such statements with considerable suspicion, especially when they are delivered with a pseudo-authoritative slant. I've done MY homework and I KNOW the risks. So do all the countries that have forbidden these products entry into their ports. Except, the USA, of course… gee, I wonder why?

So whilst I support everyone's free speech, I am exercising the right to dissent, and vehemently, at that.

Thank you for providing a forum where that can take place.

Alex Jones has several segments on the topic of GMO crap food.

If one is not familiar with Alex Jones the site is infowars.com or prisonplanet.com or cgnlive.com.

Very informative and as well, the pictures of the animals in Europe they did tests on, feeding them GMO's. It will make you Puke!

The cancers, deformities, intestinal dissolving, brain, heart and soft tissue tumors! Yeah, GMO is surely safe….right???? Wake up America or we are going to loose! Evil is abounding!!!!

    • Anonymous says:

Well done someone’s had the dictionary out! I think we’re going to stick to the scientist advice as you doing your homework hasnt helped anyone In The least besides make people confused as your use of words are not in the correct contex. Also to add to that insects can not live on gm foods so what chance have we got you moron

If there is anything that I have learned…it's due diligence.

In that vein, I would like to know – Who the following people work for?; Do they have any scientific credentials?; Where did they get their information?

    Jeet Chatterjee

    Leo Kretzner

Either answer the questions…or get off the pot! If you don't answer them you're most likely a toady for one or more of the chemical companies and/or the conservatives. Heck, you could be even if you do answer them!

    PUT UP…OR SHUT UP!

    • Warren Trupin says:

It's the Obama leftist government who allow things like this and tell you vitamins are no good. We conservatives lead the charge against this crap. If the conservatives were in charge you liberals would not have destroyed our once great country and then use the media to blame Bush. God bless America and the hell with leftist liberals. Wake up Americans people like T.M. are the problem. The libs hate America and want us to be just like China.
Only conservatives like Reagan and our founding fathers can turn America in the opposite direction.

  20. Jeet Chatterjee says:

I agree with Leo Kretzer. This is such an ill-informed article.. every item on the list points to "unknown future risks"…. GMO foods, in a statistically overwhelming amount of cases, have had no significant health risks. Further, they are the best hope for combating malnutrition, hunger as well as reintroducing agriculture in regions ravaged by pests, drought or disease.

Yes, there are issues with horizontal gene spread and the danger of pests/bacteria becoming resistant to pesticides. But the idea that genetic modification is unnatural and immediately bad for you is ludicrous. People talk about buying only organic bananas. Every single banana is a result of a human intervention and genetic modification. Humans have been involved in genetic modification for thousands of years- every known example of agriculture has involved genetic modification by restricting the growth of wild plants in farms/fields etc.

    • Jpearl says:

@ Jeet, yes, there have been forms of genetic modification, natural, and otherwise, for a long time. But, there has Never been anything as huge as this, (injecting pesticide chemicals into corn, for instance, to combat pests.) This is just one small example, but will serve to illustrate my point. The corn is now infused with pesticide, from the inside out….mmm, how could that possibly be a health risk?

Monsanto is, and was a Chemical co., producing pesticides (like round up), as it's main product….until they decided it would be a good way to control seeds, and the food supply….voila, poison food….yummmy. Of course, the billions in profits from this control gives them lots of power to buy off people and anything standing in their way. They did not expect people to stand up against them as they are….we are thinking of the future of our planet, and our children.

BTW, it is a lie that GMO crops perform better….the weeds and pests just become resistant, and More and More poison is needed to attempt control…poisoning the very soil for years to come….and, the GMO seeds contaminate all around them, for miles….as far as the wind will carry them. It is a veritable Pandora's box being unleashed on the world.

    • Steve says:

Fact: GMO crops are actually much more susceptible to drought than conventional crops, despite the marketing claims.

If you want world-record-breaking crop yields, go organic: http://www.dnaindia.com/india/report_bihar-farmer

And pests mostly feed on dying crops, part of nature's plan to break down the material for future growth. If you treat the soil right, it will be alive with beneficial bacteria and lots of worms, and pests will largely stay away. Dumping pesticides on the crops kills the life in the soil and invites the pests.

    • Beth says:

Let's not confuse hybrids with GMO's. A hybrid plant, left alone will revert back to original. GMO's are changed at the core.

    • gigi says:

Jeet, I guess you will jump off the proverbial cliff? Right, yeah. You are stupid as the guy you are agreeing with. You moron, the bad of this is everywhere. Ever heard of greed, well that produces evil and power hungry pontifs that will sacrifice your health over there money hoarding. I have been doing my DD for 40 years. You will not come close to knowing all that I have uncovered in those years, dear.
So get started and learn before you speak about something you know NOTHING of………
It is killing people and there is proof, but not visible, cause you have powerful people not willing to let you know what they know. They do not care one bit about your ARS, dear. GMO's are harmful to us, animals, environment, etc. and do not believe otherwise. If I had the time and space to type all of the proven harm it does, I would, but clearly I do not. TRUST ME….. It is not GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Corinne says:

I really don't think that prior to this issue anyone has crated sterile seeds or plants that create their own insecticides.

  21. Leo Kretzner says:

There are real economic and environmental issues with GM foods, but unless you know you have food allergies, this business of them being "dangerous to eat" is simply nonsense. (I can just hear the gasps.)

I'm sorry that goes counter to the echo chamber that exists here, but it's the truth. We eat DNA in our food every day; most crops are already highly modified and not truly natural. Even 'certified organic' crops can have all sorts of exceptions and low levels of certain 'non-organic.'

I don't doubt the well-intended concerns here – and as I said, GMOs have legit issues: economic justice and concerns with horizontal gene spread. Those are real issues. But unless you already have food allergies, the possible danger of GM food per se is minimal. I will gladly eat it.

I realize scaring people helps bring in donations and heated rhetoric. I am extremely leftist in my political views, but this "Frankenfood" meme is anti-scientific, new age nonsense. Right up there with magic crystals having "healing energies" – total, anti-science bunk. ('Sungazing' sounds even more ludicrous.)

People, there are MUCH bigger concerns – such as endocrine disruptors all around us. Etc, etc.

I know people will rail against my post. BFD! I'm sure there are lots of unverified anecdotes about someone's cousin who ate GM corn and went insane, but I'd bet a year's pay most if not all of those are bogus.

By beating this 'straw drum' so loudly, you just lose credibility with more mainstream media – and also are ignoring the real issues. Save scaring people for halloween when childish behavior is acceptable.

    • Leo Kretzner says:

By the way, and very ironically: A major reason the GM food people are against labelling it is exactly because of the fear-mongering around the issue.

It's also ironic that I'm actually trying to tell people how to stop shooting themselves in the foot with this issue, but most will no doubt hate me for saying anything counter to their world-view.

      • cherylc says:

i in no way purposely gave you a thumbs up! it was accident! BELIEVE THAT! i think you are either working for Monsanto or just not willing to see whats really goin on… WAKE UP! ~ 29countries didnt band this toxic food because it is good for us!! smh….some sheeple!

    • Jpearl says:

@ Leo, it is a distinct possibility that you are working on behalf of Monsanto, GMOs main pusher.

They are, after all, spending Millions to defeat the labeling bill set to be on the ballot in California this fall. That would definitely include money being paid to people to try to discredit info threads like this one. And, even if you are not (and are just badly informed about GMOs), you can be Sure there are others who are being paid to do this.

    • Bill Newman says:

Hi Leo: It's hard to say whether you're a GMO lobby agent or not, but if so you're a good one. You sound convinced. I can only say to you that if you want GMO's to gain any credibility with thinking and concerned people, you've got to wrench it from the clutches of criminal corporations like Monsanto and hand over all future development to more credible agencies. Monsanto and their ilk have no social capital remaining at all and the vast majority of independent food producers and advocate consumers will fight them to the last.

    • Anonymous says:

In May 19th ,2009 the American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM) encouraged the American nation to stop consuming gmos', immediately. They released a position paper on gmo's , and in it ,they addresses the direct correlation between gmo's and adverse health effects. They cite several animal studies, scientists, pediatricians and medical and research personnel, alike. The AAEM then concluded that , "GM foods pose a serious health risk in the areas of toxicology, allergy and immune function, reproductive health, and metabolic, physiologic and genetic health…."( link; http://www.aaemonline.org/gmopost.html) The information is there for anyone who is willing to dig deep enough. Gmo's don't only cause harm to those with "allergic reactions" , they are threat to anyone and anything that injects then on massive scale. Do your research and become informed, gmo's should be labeled, and people HAVE every right to know what in their food. It's up to every individual to decide wether they still want to consume gmo's , once the information and truth regarding them is clearly and openly available.

      • Steve says:

Actually, there's enough credible science and field observation available now that it is clear that GMOs should not be labelled, they should be completely banned.

    • Charles says:

Leo you fat slob I hope you choke on a piece of corn you filthy globalist!

    • RC says:

No one is saying outlaw the GMO food, Mr. Kretzner. We simply want this stuff to be labelled. You choose to eat GMO, others choose not to.. however, we need labels on the products so we can all make the choices that are best for us. No big deal right? We will have our labels no matter how much is spent to convince us otherwise. 37 will pass.

Here is an article for you to read while you're scarfing produce spliced with animal genes and chemicals – http://truth-out.org/news/item/11639-french-study

      • Steve says:

I say we should absolutely outlaw the GMO food. Since there is ample evidence of the seriously harmful health impacts, there is no reason to allow it. And if we are honest about it, a majority of the public won't bother to read the labels anyway, while Monsanto laughts all the way to the bank. But even if GMOs were allowed to be sold, there should be a requirement to grow it in a completely isolated hermetically sealed facility with no chance for contamination in the natural real world.

    • Saiga says:

      Your an idiot!!! WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Joe Calhoun says:

I am in disbelief that someone could be so blind about this. Can you show me the extensive studies that support your statements. I think the one major study in Britain is all there is and they destroyed that and fired the man who did the studies which showed the damage that GMO foods can cause and it is reported the average person eat at least 200 lbs a year of GMO type foods a year and in most cases does not have a clue that they are doing it. I for one believe that there is going to be grave consequences. Wake up, quit being the so called expert. Maybe these meme's are anti-scientific because there is no scientific data to support GMO and none so far required because they, Monsanto and their co-hort have the FDA in thier pocket.

    • Beth says:

Leo, can you explain then why GMO food/feed crops have been banned in 29 other countries? Please don't say it was because the public demanded it. They demanded TESTING and after testing, 29 countries banned it !!

    • Anonymous says:

R u serious, stop playing, you must work with monsato,or own a vusiness and worried about losing a dollar!! Thanks for this list. I would caution everyone to avoid GMO foods. They damage your liver and kidneys, reducing your ability to detox your body–so your body gets sic.

    • Christine says:

Thanks for this list. I would caution everyone to avoid GMO foods. They damage your liver and kidneys, reducing your ability to detox your body–so your body gets sick. Sorry for the spelling error!

      • Leo Kretzner says:

Your spelling error is the least of it.

How exactly, or even approximately, does a foreign gene inserted in a crop damage the liver and kidneys?? Do you know anyone that this has happened to? Or is this just another thing that get's repeated enough that people believe it? I note that this is typically the ploy if right wingers, but I suspect you are not that.

        • Jpearl says:

@ Leo, it is not just about a foreign gene insertion. It is about huge amounts of pesticide poison being dumped on Gm crops, which they are engineered to live through. Monsanto is after all, a chemical and pesticide co.

          • Saiga says:

WOW Finally! So why again do they need to be involved with our food supply???

A Fucking chemical company???!!!???!! Oh that's right because DDT was an effective insect repellant and was easy to wash off of our fruits and veggies. Which did not enter into the food. Can't have that!!! NO, NO, NO, lets just engineer toxins directly into the foods fuck the people! LEO, YOUR AN IDIOT!!! AGAIN WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  23. Dr. P. says:

    30 July

The problem with avoiding any GE crops is not a simple one, as everything has been contaminated by air currents, and insects, and birds. It is impossible to isolate thousands upon thousands of contaminated GE crops. The other grave issue is the aerosol/Chemtrails global assault for the past 14+ years. So, this means there are no real "organic" crops anymore. We are uninformed experimental lab animals for covert operations that have not only changed our entire weather, but also dumped enormous amounts of toxins on everything. This is well documented; but mainstream media (owned by 5 corporations) is complicit in this cover-up. For those not informed, check out:

  24. Eliot W. Collins says:

It is safe to assume that all processed food that is not labeled "non-GMO" contains some GMO ingredients. I do not know of any fresh produce grown from GE seeds, other than a few varieties of sweet corn. Theoretically GMO produce should have an "8" in the first position of the five digit PLU code. If one wants to eat only non-GMO soy products, then there are many available, all labeled USDA Organic or non-GMO.

The real problem is that pesticide resistant GE crops encourage the use of even more pesticides. In my opinion, we have more to fear from the increased amount of pesticides being introduced into the environment than from actually eating GMO foods.

What if fruits and vegetables could be genetically modified so that they would be pest (but not pesticide) resistant? What is the downside to GMO produce that did not require the use of any pesticides at all? Yes, I know there are other options as well.

    • WonderBarbie says:

      Greetings,

Read the Monsanto story from a reliable source. They created one of the first pest resistant pesticides called Roundup Ready that is used on their crops. They even sue farmers for replanting the seeds from prior harvest. They actually have patents on their seeds so you can't even use the fruit from prior seeds you purchased. In other words, they are sewing up the worlds food market with GMO foods. Even organic giants like Whole Foods have caved in. Monsanto and ConAgra dominate the food market worldwide through the control of the seeds. In addition, they are forcing organic farmers out of the marketplace. One way to to contaminant their corps with the GMO seedlings.

    • Corinne says:

I understand that GMO foods are genetically grown to produce their own insecticide which, of course, we ingest if we eat the foods.

What is stargaxing and sungazing? Thanks

  26. Tabula says:

Can anyone provide more scientific researched sites of sungazing? Even if it's alternative science studies. Also can you be more specific on this 80 year old man and provide his name? Thanks…

In Germany, the produce you buy will no longer rott…they don`t even get brown spots..noticed especially with tomatoes and bell peppers..you can not use the seeds for reproduction, either..they are sterile..:(((

    • Anonymous says:

BTW..I tried it with both tomatoes AND peppers..they stayed "fresh" for 5 months without refridgeration..and still going strong..no a spot on them..would I eat those? NO way…

    • Cecile Caple says:

That is completely frightening. I am so sorry for this. I contend that the people are the victims of their gov'ts, and it's global. When they've taken our ability to self-sustain, they've taken it all.

    • MD says:

Potatoes don't grow "eyes" anymore. Organic ones will grow them.

    • pavan says:

sterile cos they are hybrid varieties which give great yield to farmers..and are not necessarily gm crops…

    • jeanie says:

They probably have been irradiated, which basically sterilizes them with radiation.

    • Jude55wastingaway says:

I bought 1 orange and 1 green pepper at a krogers in SW TN. Both were perfect on the outside and moldy, brown and rotten to the core on the inside. Just like MONSANTO executives.

    Hey, where's number 9?

  29. Paradzai Mutandwa says:

Here in Afrika in general, and Zimbabwe in particular, consecutive poor rains, coupled with a depressed economy, have seen us turn to donations and, as beggars are not choosers, what NGOs bring to hungry communities has been accepted with much gratitude and little scrutiny.

    • dre says:

I would highly recommend you look up the practice of moon gazing and sun gazing, countless reports showing people not needing food anymore for months on end – one man has not yet eaten food or drank water since he as 12 he is now in this 80s, a young boy meditated for 10 months with no food or water. Sun gazing works – i'm currently working my way up and every day i feel more and more energized.

      • josh says:

i agree sungazing does work and i need to start doing it again. your facts on the 80 year old man are off however. he only drinks water. One thing that puzzles scientist who study this man is the fact that his pineal gland is actually growing and is much larger than the average

        • Ahmed says:

Could both of you guys start blogs on your activities?

Btw, if you want some tips on this practice (also called bigu in Tibetan tradition) google meditationexpert and check out the fasting articles

      • Saiga says:

        Enjoy that fukishima radiation!! Wow….

    • Cecile Caple says:

Perhaps what they need is an organizer. With numbers standing strong and having their voice heard, many changes can be dreamed into reality. When a family becomes self-sustaining, it is truly a miracle to behold. Wishing you the best of luck and days ahead. Peace!

welcoming one form of death over another??

      • Boom says:

You're an idiot. Thank all things that matter that you aren't in any form of power. Especially concerning GMOs otherwise our friend Paradzai may have died from starvation. The person who posted this article has one source. Two of the sources for the sourced article are back to the natural society website. The only one with decent sources at all. Is the Huffington Post Article. which if you follow back the article it sources sources an actual journal.

The journal that is being referenced is one done in 2002 and is using the infamous Sprague-Dawley rats. This study has long since been defrauded. The rats develop large tumors naturally within a 2 year time span. Bad science is bad. So much misinformation is out there in relation to GMO's and the amount of bullshit that people repeat VS actual evidence is very skewed.

Here is the once source that many of those sites use: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC12407

Here's the common misinformation from peeps who are profiting from your fear: http://www.infowars.com/eu-sides-with-monsanto-in

And here is a discovery.com article with some peer review: http://news.discovery.com/earth/plants/gm-corn-tu

Remember, misinformation is a weapon of mass destruction.
Considering the article was published in 2012, ten years after the study they are citing. No attention to the defamation of the study after 10 years. That is not doing your homework at the least or openly misleading at the most. These folks can't be trusted to give accurate info.

        • JediQ says:

Spoken by someone who seems to be a shill for GMO companies. Work for Monsanto by any chance?

          • guest says:

My thoughts exactly JediQ. Monsantos foods good for us..Thats why they spent millions on lawyers so that they would not have to label their products as GMO..Think Booms been eating too much gmo corn

        • anon says:

"from peeps who are profiting from your fear"

I'll give you that infowars profits off of fear, but the example of one bad website does not stretch to cover the entire issue.

Who are you suggesting "profits" from people growing their own vegetables and doing their own research when it comes to whether or not they wish to consume GMO's?

I don't care if the studies were de-frauded: I shouldn't be FORCED to consume something I do not wish to consume, no matter how irrational you believe my wishes are.

    • dee says:

Africa deserves much better than GMO crops!

    • Lorn says:

you really can't eat shit anymore, all of these food facts are just really starting to piss me off…like what the fuck do we eat anymore if it's all poison?

    • joe says:

so you want the people of your country to eat spermicidal corn?

    • candy says:

How nice of us to donate food that will kill you so that you don't starve to death. being a depressed economy you a;so lack the medical practices that can treat all the diseases you would get from GMO foods. God made things perfect for how they were meant to be but we keep meddling with things and making them worse by making things APPEAR as though they are getting better. Man buys into the illusion because we are prideful people.

Interested in learning more about foods, additives and what is tampered with by

    chemicals etc.

    • Cecile Caple says:

Any commercial food is subject to suspicion because it is raised for mass consumption to be profitable. Eat local, organic, vegetarian, grow your own, raise your own, just a few suggestions…
