    EVERYone in Europe and NorthAfrica, Mediterranean, middle east, Asia eat a lot of garlic in general in their dishes. ITALIANS, SPANISH, PORTUGUESE, FRENCH, ETC ETC.. ALL USE garlic in their food. Even in LatinAmerica and East Asia etc…Yes, you are right, when I came to this country from Europe, I couldn’t believe my in laws didn’ ever use garlic and neither my husbands family (Swedish and German desc.) but the funny thing is the in Germany, today they use garlic in many of their dishes. Very few Italians don’t eat/use garlic in their dishes. Turmeric ginger cinnamon cumin black cumin seeds all are antioxidant and anti inflammatory and there are many fruits and vegetables that are very good too.

    I think they try to say… even if they don’t that one ‘thing’ alone don’t kill cancer or makes cancer disappear. It may kill some cancer cells but not all …??

    I’m so proud to be an Indian. Most of Indian food is made of garlic,ginger, onion, turmeric and coconut oil. All of these are cure to most of diseases. I think it’s time for world to look in to all these natural herbs and do some research and add them in to their regular diets.

        you can use herbs in any cooked dish: soups, lentils, beans, stews, meats etc…olive oil or coconut 1tbs. with 1/2 tsp. turmeric, 1/4 tsp. ginger, 1 tsp. thyme, 1 tsp. oregano, 2 bay leaves, (some dishes you can add cumin ), 1/2c onions chopped, 2 or 3 garlic cloves slices or mashed, salt and pepper. with lentils I add 1 tsp of wine vinegar (or lemon) at the end.

    One would think that the National Cancer Institute would know of garlic's "ability to fight against cancer and infections naturally."

    They state, however, "Since many of the studies looking at garlic use and cancer prevention have used multi-ingredient products, it is unclear whether garlic alone or in combination with other nutritional components may have the greatest effect," like the results are inconclusive.

    I love how even the slightest correlation is blown out of proportion for being something more than what it is…

    Avocados are the best solution for many of the diseases. It contains lots of proteins and gives a good resistance power to our body. Most of us doesn’t know the good sides of garlic, it is the most common thing in our kitchen and we should include it in maximum foods.

    I do eat onions and do take a lot of herbal infusions and drinks.

    i don't know whether onions can be considered as a liver cleanser.

    Again we have a lot of trees,grasses,flowers and fruits/seeds/nut in Nigeria that we use for herbal treatment.and they work 100%.any interested nutritionist scientist is invited to come and research.

    I already use all of those things (not big on garlic though). Use the warm lemon water every morning and have done for several years now. What about suggesting eating real liver? Or even desiccated liver tablets (which is what I do because I don't care for the smell or the taste of liver). TCM associates "like treats like" and I believe TCM has it all over American allopathic nonsensical, non-healing, cover-up-the-symptoms-but-don't-treat-the-real-cause medicine. I use Solgar desiccated liver tabs.

        Why would you eat raw liver unless you were an animal? Organ meats are very bad for you!!! Liver filters all the waste & that is why it taste so hideous. Eating it raw is even worse you will get parasites & worms. Plus it will most definitely give you high uric acid levels.

    Losing weight and cleaning the liver starts with a diabetes diet according to Dr. Liu in Denmark. The food was changed in the USA, UK and Australia 30 years ago when dangerous food chemicals from the USA was allowed into European.

    The food today causes stubborn insulin If you have stubborn insulin you hold fat and have a hard time losing weight. You can eat very little and the weight still does not come off. Stubborn insulin will hold fat and diets won't work.
