This is the yahoo definition of natural:

Present in or produced by nature.
    a natural pearl.
Of, relating to, or concerning nature.
    a natural environment.
Conforming to the usual or ordinary course of nature.
    a natural death.

Is this like the claims we see on supplements stating that something a) “supports, protects, promotes” b) healthy c) metabolism, circulation, sleep, etc?

These terms are not regulated either, yet Big Alternative capitalizes on it to the tune of $34 billion a year.
