  3. I agree with Ted. Valerian root tea was a big savior for me at the time of stress. It solved the insomnia problem and helped to lower the anxiety (that was during my graduate studies). I even had to drink a cup of Valerian root tea before my meeting with PI to tell him that I am going to defend even if he doesn't want me too 🙂 I was surprised how calm I was at listening to his speech and threats (The tea makes you sleepy, so be sure you can stay alert if you decide to drink it during the day). It's been few years since then, and I don't need the tea anymore.
