We finally got the city to take fluoride out of our water completely, took two years to fight it but its done. We do not even feed our dogs water from the city, we go to a natural spring and fill containers every month. Harvard just came out with a study on fluoride and everything that has been said is now confirmed, so states are thinking about less fluoride …not the end of fluoride . Nestlé's bottle water CEO just came out and said they should own all the water the water in the world that people are not entitled to have free water…?

      wow, which city is this?
how did your city do this? it could help other local sister cities.
      congratulations for the victory!

  3. Do you have a link to the research? Can't find it on the net. I would love to be able to have a source to quote.

    1. Yes, I too would like the link to the scholarly article to find out the details, that would be great. The link you provide goes to the University's somewhat chaotic home page. Thanks for your piece, that is great news.

  4. I take fermented holy basil to get the probiotics too.

  5. so how do we put this to use at home? do we let our water sit in containers with basil soaking in it before drinking?

  6. Fine, but where do you buy tulsi plants from, and I don't just mean in America? We can't all go to India for them!

  7. blank sabdra beaudry says:

where can you purchase the holy basil?

  8. Did I miss it!? What is the process. Tulsi is a part of my daily life! Tea, aroma therapy etc. But either I am crazy or something but I did not see what to do or how to use Tulsi to achieve this benefit.

    1. The article mention soaking the leaves in the water for 8hrs. And the Ratio was 75mg Tulsi for 100ml water.

  9. This is awesome I work in a health food store, and we had the tea bags and recently started selling the dry herb loose by the once. I have been able to find the seeds online for a reasonable price too.

  10. How many leaves would 75 mg be? Do you think it would work with dried holy basil too?
