New Study Finds Garlic Heals 100% of Warts in 2 Weeks
Garlic is definitely one of nature’s biggest stars. Not only does it taste good in a variety of dishes, but it also offers numerous health benefits. Adding to the body of research outlining those benefits is a new study published in the International Journal of Dermatology, one that indicates garlic holds the power to eliminate warts and help heal corns.
According to the study, participants who received a fat-soluble garlic extract applied directly to their wart(s) twice daily saw 100% recovery. In other words, the garlic extract eliminated the warts entirely.
Further, the fat-based extract proved 80% effective in the treatment of corns. What’s more, these results were achieved after only one to two weeks of treatment.
As a comparison, the researchers also tested a water-based garlic extract and found that it had beneficial effects—eliminating small warts after 30-40 days of application—but nowhere near the effects of the fat-based extract.
So, how did the garlic extract achieve these results?
Garlic is a powerful plant with antiviral and anti-tumor properties. The researchers point out that warts are caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV), and that the antiviral properties worked on this mechanism. Also, because warts are similar in composition to benign tumors, the anti-tumor properties likely played a role.
The researchers also noted , according to GreenMedInfo, that garlic may have affected the body’s immune response: “…enhancement of immunological responses elicited by garlic may be responsible.”
In corn removal, they identified the garlic’s ability to separate the affected tissues:
“Application of garlic extract on a corn caused the removal of the corn from its place. It seems that because of the fibrinolytic effect of garlic, the surrounding fibrin tissue of the corn capsule was lyzed and the capsule was separated from the main tissue.”
Each night before bed, crush up a clove of garlic, rub it on the wart, and apply a bandage. Additionally, cover the wart with juice from garlic twice a day.
Currently, the most common way to treat warts is through ove-the-counter solutions. But with garlic eliminating 100% of warts in only one to two weeks’ time, it’s obvious we need to rethink the conventional approach.

I went ahead and bought some of Dr. Christopher’s garlic oil and have been using them on two warts on my hand. It is definitely helping; they are getting smaller but it will take six-seven weeks to finish the job and not the two.
Read comment above.
try vicks vapor rub, or golden color listerine, or silver (electric ?) tape just cut a small piece and cover well the. warts are a virus, you are cutting their air, in a couple weeks it will be dead. change every day but be sure is tied to the skin so it can’t breath
Take a Zinc supplement with food daily until the wart disappears. Takes 3-4 days.
Everything can be cured by something except Seborrheic Keratosis, ugly scaly brown bumps that pop up everywhere. Doctors spray liquid nitrogen on them, a painful, messy, expensive process that works. Many people would pay good money for a natural or at least less horrible cure. Any ideas?
Just cover the wart with fresh crushed garlic, being careful not to cover the surrounding area as it will burn your skin. Put a band-aid over it & leave it on for 24 hours, rinse with water & forget about it. The wart will fall off within a few days. You’ll smell a little garlicy for 24 hours, but if anyone says anything just wave your arms around say “what’s-a-matta-you”, they’ll understand.
Had a small wart on my cheek. Removed the wart but burned the cr%p out of my skin, blistered and bleed after a few hours. No sign of the wart and skin healing nicely. Works but be careful I used minced garlic the size of sesame seed.
Did it swell up kind of….like a blister almost? We started this yesterday and that’s what we’re seeing. So today we only put it on for about an hour, and have since let it just get air. Wondering if this is just part of the process. 🙂
