  1. HMM…YET AGAIN I SAY……

  2. Not only is Tamiflu toxic… there is ZERO proof – anywhere – that this deadly drug has EVER done anything good.

I hate to say it, but Tamiflu is getting no attention here for any bad side affects. In fact, you'd think it's the end all cure for flu virus the way the media is highlighting its use in the local hospitals. They reported yesterday that hospitals are running out of Tamiflu and do not have enough of a supply. How does one get the word out on the adverse affects of Tamiflu and how can a new mother who is inundated with baby and child care (little time on the web) get this information?

My 87-year-old mother is in a nursing home, has the flu, and is being given Tamiflu against my wishes. I wanted to bring her some herbal and natural remedies, but the nurse told me they would neither accept it nor use it. Do you have any idea what my/our rights are regarding such a situation, where the nursing home on-staff doctor/nursing staff can override my wishes (I have medical power of attorney for my mother)? Thank you for your help. I am terrified of what possible negative side effects this drug may have on my elderly, very vulnerable mother.

    1. Hey Lani, sorry to hear about the difficulties your having. It's wrong that the 'nurse' is dismissing your concerns out of hand and she's wrong. You need to speak to the manager of the home and if you don't get a sympathetic hearing there, then go above them to their manager. As for your natural remedies, administer them yourself when you visit. As I don't know what they are (you don't mention in your post), I can't say how they should be given. You have rights, don't forget that. Be brave and stand up for what you believe in. As. Say in England, 'don't let the Bastards grind you down'. Good luck, have faith in yourself.
      Love & blessings 🙂

  6. Sorry, typo! Should read 'as we say in England' 🙂
