  1. IF THE PACKAGE DOES NOT SAY GMO FREE OR ORGANIC THEN IT IS NOT! NO NEED FOR RELABELING!!! This is just more proof that most people must not read anything anyway.

    1. “No need for relabeling” Ha Ha you got that right the aim is to ban GMO There is a serious need for lawful investigations and amending the rules and regulations of the FDA USDA allowances on supposed Organic, natural and sadly non gmo labeling. Parts per million meaning there are parts per million synthetic surprise-allowances found in all the 3 listed and are allowed to be falsely labeled natural, organic and non gmo factory foods. The facts are in these agencies rules as they are also bullying the NOSB to change their allowances and sunshine rules
Local farm markets and natural stores will be the only truth in organic natural and non gmo foods
Shop local and plant your own gardens community supported agriculture = ORGANIC

So every product on the shelves that is not marked GMO is GMO safe. Prove it.

Labeling is a good start but better to place a moratorium on all GMO open-field production until long term independent safety studies are conducted.

As a farmer, who has experimented with genetic engineering in the lab, I know the dangers of rogue proteins, reproductive issues, problems with gut bacteria that are severely disturbing and just part of the multitude of problems associated with creating new life forms. GMOs provide no benefits to farmers and have failed to deliver the promises monsanto made 15 years ago when they were introduced.

We passed our counties first ever voter iniative for a moratorium here, on Maui the frontline of the production of GMO seeds, despite being outspent by Monsanto and Dow, who paid over $8 million, the most ever spent on an election in the history of Hawaii.

We won with less than $65 k, average donation was $50. We don’t want monsanto to do to Hawaii or anywhere what they did to Anniston Alabama, where they were convicted of knowingly poisoning an entire town for decades and covering it up.
