In the regions throughout the world and to others who use olive oil regularly in their diet surely it would be recognised by now that those groups would be cancer free yet this is not the situation. Until now when there has been a natural substance that is found to cure cancer the information has been marginalised and kept out of the public arena and on a few occasions those who used it publicly have been attacked and prevented from using or advertising it. Something is likely to arise to disprove or debunk this research as there is too much at stake for the profiteers and those who work in the industry including the charities; all those who make a living from cancer. Finally, olive oil as a monounsaturated fat it is understood to create masses of those wee free radicals which are known to be harmful to the cellular level of the body; a paradox indeed.

I would caution folks to make sure what they’re buying is actually real olive oil. The industry is rife with fakes who cut their EVOO with other cheaper oils which don’t have the same phenol compounds. Look for small organically-managed orchards; there are some out in California. Do a search for “organic olive oil, California” to find them. Personally, I like Chaffin Family Orchards; their oil is expensive and they only have limited quantities each harvest, but I think it’s worth it. There are other olive oils that you can buy in the store, though, which have been tested as being real olive oil: Kirkland Organic, Corto Olive, California Olive Ranch, and McEvoy Ranch Organic. I, myself, wouldn’t buy those which aren’t organic, especially for someone with cancer since they need to avoid as many toxins as possible.
Of course, olive oil by itself isn’t a cancer cure but it’s a good fat to use instead of all the “vegetable” oils. Coconut oil is also good to ingest as a fat, along with avocado oil and walnut oil.
