This is the first time I’ve ever heard of “insulin resistance and leptin resistance caused by [a] high fat diet.” Everything else I’ve read (which is a lot) has suggested that that insulin and leptin resistance, and least in humans, is typically caused by a high carbohydrate and low fat diet.

Note, that the type of fat was not mentioned. In addition to carbohydrates both processed PUFA and MUFA fats are deleterious to the body, while the much aligned saturated fats are bodily healthy. It is not just humans who are adversely affected by processed foods as all animals are and especially house pets. PUFAs in particular are known to be potent suppressers of the immune system while MUFAs create masses of those nasty wee free radicals which are deleterious to the body.

The Cancer Research Center of Tehran University of Medical Sciences produced the polymer-based nanocarrier for the targeted release of the anti-cancer drug curcumin, ISNA reported on Sunday.

    “This
nanocarrier was made without the use of poisonous catalysts and has
proven successful in clinical trials on a number of cancer patients,”
said Dr Ali Mohammad Alizadeh from the Iran Nanotechnology Initiative
