The info about BHT is of interest, especially since there was no dosage information. That is a giveaway. Actually, BHT is very helpful for those with Herpes, and will eventually kill the herpes virus, by degrading the myelin sheath. It is the only known cure for this.

As for the other health risks – if there are some – show me the data, please.

      1. blank Vigilant Satyr says:

Nice try. This time point to the study that shows the dosage of BHT in the supplements and how that specific dosage is harmful.

The poison is in the dose. At sufficiently high doses, water is toxic.

  3. HORSEFEATHERS!!! ITS IRONIC THAT [S510 FOOD MODERNIZATION ACT], OR [CODEX ALIMENTARIUS] NEVER CAME TO FRUITION, SO NOW THESE FREAKS ARE TRYING TO FREAK YOU OUT AND SCARE YOU INTO NOT BUYING THESE ESSENTIAL VITAMINS. THIS IS A FALSE FLAG!! THIS SITE OFFERS YOU NO PROOF,AND NO NAMES TO INVESTIGATE. THE GLOBALISTS ARE AT IT AGAIN. IF THIS WERE EVEN RUMORED THOSE VITAMINS WOULD BE RIPPED OFF THE SHELF SO FAST IT WOULD MAKE YOURE EYES SPIN!!!!!

You better get you facts straight about boric acid. Boric acid inhibits DNA damage does not cause it.

Boric acid is a weak acid that forms a white, water-soluble powder. It occurs naturally in seawater, is found in many plants and most fruits, and has been used since ancient Greek times for cleaning and food preservation. Modern research is finding a basis for the use of boric acid in human health and medicine.

    Antioxidant

A study published in the July 2010 journal "Experimental and Toxicologic Pathology" tested the antioxidant capacity of boric acid with regard to its ability to detoxify the body from heavy metal poisoning. The study looked at genotoxicity — DNA damage — to white blood cells induced by arsenic, bismuth, cadmium, mercury and lead in human blood cultures. Oxidative stress was also evaluated by measuring the levels of glutathione — an antioxidant molecule — in red blood cells. The study found that boric acid significantly reduced the genotoxic effects caused by low doses of these heavy metals. The researchers conclude that, based on its antioxidant properties, boric acid may play a protective role in the body and may be useful in the development of functional foods and medicines.

The ability of boric acid to inhibit the growth of candida albicans was documented in an article published in the February 2009 "Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy." Test-tube preparations of candida albicans were tested using concentrations of boric acid that are safe enough to use as a topical treatment for a human yeast infection. The researchers found that when they varied temperature and boric acid concentration, the yeast were more resistant to higher concentrations of boric acid at cold temperatures. They conclude that boric acid is effective as a therapeutic tool, and they postulate that boric acid works by inhibiting the ability of the fungi to carry out metabolism.

    Anti-cancer effects

Anti-cancer effects of boric acid were found on melanoma, a form of skin cancer, in a study published in the August 2009 journal "The Analyst." Boron is found naturally in foods and drinking water, and in locations where levels are low, a correlation has been found with a higher incidence of cancer. The study found that viability of melanoma cells decreased with an increasing concentration of boric acid, and the researchers concluded that high concentrations of boric acid have an anti-proliferative effect via promoting apoptosis — programmed cell death — of melanoma cells.

Another study published in the August 2008 "Cell Adhesion and Migration" found a similar result with breast and prostate cancer cells. The study compared boric acid with a close molecular relative called phenylboronic acid. Both compounds were effective at decreasing cancer cell viability after eight days of treatment; however, phenylboronic acid was found to be the more potent of the two with regard to inhibiting metastatic and proliferative properties of cancer cells.

  5. Great article thanks, horrible to see what they're putting in our pills!

  6. blank Anonymous says:

Thank you for this. BHT is toxic.

  7. If you eat right you do not need supplements. That is how I live. I grow my own food and eggs or buy from organic farmers.

    1. blank Power Unseen says:

      Dear Art,

Good on yer, keep it up. Expect to live longer than most. Track down the Doctor Wallach tape, then say you do not need supplements. Organic is best, yes but does not seem to be enough, but don't take my word for it.

  8. Yeah, Boric Acid isn’t dangerous see the MSDS below. The water comment is a joke and laughable, water is not inherently a poison or toxic. There is never a safe amount of poison to put into your body on a regular basis, get real

Boric Acid is absorbed through skin contact, particularly damaged skin, and inhalation. Quoting the federally required Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for Boric Acid (H3BO3):

    “Potential Health Effects
    ———————————-

    Inhalation:
Causes irritation to the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract. May be absorbed from the mucous membranes, and depending on the amount of exposure could result in the development of nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, drowsiness, rash, headache, fall in body temperature, low blood pressure, renal injury, cyanosis, coma, and death.
    Ingestion:
Symptoms parallel absorption via inhalation. Adult fatal dose reported at 5 to > 30 grams.
    Skin Contact:
Causes skin irritation. Not significantly absorbed through the intact skin. Readily absorbed through damaged or burned skin. Symptoms of skin absorption parallel inhalation and ingestion.
    Eye Contact:
    Causes irritation, redness, and pain.
    Chronic Exposure:
Prolonged absorption causes weight loss, vomiting, diarrhea, skin rash, convulsions and anemia. Liver and particularly the kidneys may be susceptible. Studies of dogs and rats have shown that infertility and damage to testes can result from acute or chronic ingestion of boric acid. Evidence of toxic effects on the human reproductive system is inadequate.
    Aggravation of Pre-existing Conditions:
Persons with pre-existing skin disorders or eye problems, or impaired liver, kidney or respiratory function may be more susceptible to the effects of the substance.”

    1. blank Vigilant Satyr says:

Actually yes, water is toxic in sufficiently high dosages so it is not a joke.

There is no toxin that is so potent that "any" exposure is toxic.

Without stating the dosage that is toxic, then claims about poisons are practically meaningless.

Water is considered the least toxic chemical compound, with a Median Lethal Dose(LD50) of 90g/Kg or more. For someone like me that weighs about 100Kg it means I would have to ingest about 9000g (9 liters) of water in a short period of time (without eliminating that water through any process) to reach the dose that would kill about half the people that tried it.

Botulinum toxin type A is the most lethal toxin known with an LD50 of ~1ng/Kg when injected and ~3ng/Kg when inhaled, which means that for the same chance of a lethal reaction as in the case of water above, I would only need to ingest 100 to 300 nanograms of the stuff depending on how it is delivered. Keep that in mind next time you get your Botox injection.

  9. Cupric sulfate is also in many baby formulas. I read this in an article and emailed to my sister-in-law who uses Similac (Cupric sulfate is right there in theingredient list). She told me that she would rather not know this information. I have tried talking about health issues before with her and just get the same reply. She doesn't want to know because it may scare her.

I find this anti-logic insane. Our babies are only 5 weeks apart. I chose to breastfeed and still do (18 month later). I have told her that I am not sending her this information for her. It's for her daughter. Still, she doesn't want to know. I think that she is like most people. Blind by choice. Hear no evil, see no evil, say no evil.

  10. blank frenchiemama says:

Boric Acid is perfectly safe and is actually a mineral responsible for delegating where calcium is sent for storage in your body. Without it in your diet, thank you GMOs/pesticides; that wont take it up from the soil, your body put the calcium in your joints and arteries. It also kills micro organisms/bacterial infections in your blood. Do some research before you slander something that is an essential mineral.

    1. blank frenchiemama says:

And you get 3mg of Boron (boric acid) from one organic apple.
