  1. Yuck, because I’m not sure how to spell “ech.” This stuff is way too sweet for my liking, and I stopped drinking any types of soda other than natural or organic a long time ago and seldom drink those. Now, it is mostly water. Besides, sugar has now been found to be the culprit in cardio-vascular diseases instead of fats. If you must drink Coke, then, drink its Mexican cousin. In Mexico, it is against the law to use the artificial ingredients the US allows, and, so, real sugar is still better than high fructose corn syrup. (Also, beware of the new names they are coming up with to hide the old poisons.) This type of Coke is becoming so popular it is sometimes hard to find. Ralph’s sells it. Von’s sells it. Bristol farms sells it, and many mini-marts and take out restaurants also sell it. It is sold by the bottle, glass bottle, and is labeled, “Hecho en Mexico.” There is also other writing in Spanish on it. We call it Mexi-Coke. It even tastes better. But, again, I would caution everyone to drink any sugary drinks in moderation. Oh, and, here’s tip, when your body tells you it is craving sugar, what it actually is saying is that it is thirsty, for water. So, the next time you get a craving for sweets, have some water, some really good spring water, and notice how that sugar craving disappears.

You just can’t beat ice cold well water. I don’t know where that slogan came from “the pause that refreshes”. I never found sodas refreshing. Just made me want a drink of water.
