Olive Oil Compound ‘Kills Cancer Cells in 30 Minutes’
It’s the kind of discovery that should be making international headlines: a team of researchers has discovered that a simple compound in olive oil is capable of killing cancer cells ‘within 30 minutes to an hour’ — and it doesn’t harm healthy cells.
And before some of you consider this to be ‘phony science,’ you should checkout the actual study published by the the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences at Rutgers in the journal Molecular and Cellular Oncology. Even the researchers and scientists behind the study are impressed and blown away by the results, which has serious implications when it comes to how the public may soon view simple nutrition as a weapon against cancer.
The compound utilized, known as oleocanthal, has previously been identified as an ‘anti-cancer’ agent, but the true extent of its ability to fight carcinogenic cells was virtually unknown. Several studies exist on the compound’s other benefits as well, which include its potential effects on:
- Tumor suppression
- Alzheimer’s diseass
And many others that you were most likely also unaware of. But this new study, which has found that this compound can truly kill cancer cells in under an hour, may be the most amazing. Specifically, the study found that cancer cells exposed to oleocanthal were dying in a matter of 30-60 minutes — all thanks to the way in which the olive oil compound uses the enzymes of the cancer cells. Puncturing the insides of the cancer cells where the cell ‘waste’ is held, the compound wreaks absolute havoc on the infected cells.
Professor Paul Breslin, the coauthor of the study, explains that the process causes “Hell to break loose” within the carcinogenic cell interior.
Once again, we see the true power of healing foods like olive oil proven via powerful research that has true applications for you and your family’s health (and the entire health of the planet).
There is no doubt that mega pharmaceutical companies will certainly swoop in to patent pharmaceutical technologies that attempt to mimic the behaviors of oleocanthal (with a list of side effects and reduced effectiveness), but the key here is that for virtually nothing you can start to experience the benefits of this key olive oil compound yourself: just pick up some high quality organic olive oil at your local grocery store.
In the regions throughout the world and to others who use olive oil regularly in their diet surely it would be recognised by now that those groups would be cancer free yet this is not the situation. Until now when there has been a natural substance that is found to cure cancer the information has been marginalised and kept out of the public arena and on a few occasions those who used it publicly have been attacked and prevented from using or advertising it. Something is likely to arise to disprove or debunk this research as there is too much at stake for the profiteers and those who work in the industry including the charities; all those who make a living from cancer. Finally, olive oil as a monounsaturated fat it is understood to create masses of those wee free radicals which are known to be harmful to the cellular level of the body; a paradox indeed.
Your right on the button with the receiving a paycheck to keep us all sick, but this area is only one
of the hidden dynasties of wealth.
I would caution folks to make sure what they’re buying is actually real olive oil. The industry is rife with fakes who cut their EVOO with other cheaper oils which don’t have the same phenol compounds. Look for small organically-managed orchards; there are some out in California. Do a search for “organic olive oil, California” to find them. Personally, I like Chaffin Family Orchards; their oil is expensive and they only have limited quantities each harvest, but I think it’s worth it. There are other olive oils that you can buy in the store, though, which have been tested as being real olive oil: Kirkland Organic, Corto Olive, California Olive Ranch, and McEvoy Ranch Organic. I, myself, wouldn’t buy those which aren’t organic, especially for someone with cancer since they need to avoid as many toxins as possible.
Of course, olive oil by itself isn’t a cancer cure but it’s a good fat to use instead of all the “vegetable” oils. Coconut oil is also good to ingest as a fat, along with avocado oil and walnut oil.
I saw on T.V. that Goya olive oil was the best. Is this true?
