Genetically Modified Babies ‘Created’ in US – The World’s First
In a developing story, the Daily Mail is now reporting that the very first (admitted) group of genetically modified babies have been ‘created’ in the United States. The scientists involved reportedly announced the result on the night of June 27th, stating that 30 babies were born using genetic modification techniques. Furthermore, 2 of the babies tested were found to contain genes from a total of 3 different parents. The experiment also lasted over 3 years or more according to the researchers, which may be one of many.
Creation of Genetically Modified Babies
The ‘GM babies’ were born into women who had trouble conceiving their own children. In order to ‘birth’ the babies, extra genes from a female donor were inserted into the women’s eggs before they were fertilized. After conception, scientists fingerprinted 2 of the one-year-old children and confirmed that they inherited DNA from 3 adults — one man and 2 women. What this means is that due to inheriting these extra genes through the genetic modification process, they will now be able to pass them along to their offspring. In other words, these genetically modified babies — if allowed to mate with non-GM humans — could potentially alter the very genetic coding of generations to come.
Genetecists state that this genetic modification method may one day be used to create genetically modified babies “with extra, desired characteristics such as strength or high intelligence.”
The news comes after it was previously reported by British scientists that scientists were creating human-animal ‘monsters’. Such reports highlight the fact that rampant genetic experimentation is already taking place on many humans around the world, which has led a large number of scientists to call for new rules regarding the outlandish practice. Chinese scientists have already admittedly inserted human stem cells into goat fetuses, and United States researchers have actively researched the concept of engineering a mouse with human brain cells.
Many experts are now speaking out against the announcement, including leading fertility experts and major organizations. John Smeaton, national director of the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children, said:

This is way too dangerous to be doing. It is tampering with the human race in ways that can't be undone. Of course there is an excellent chance the children will grow up and have babies themselves. Are there going to be people to tell them no they can't have babies themselves because it could cause dire consequences to the human race? It isn't genetic modification that bothers me, it is the fact that there seems to be no limits to it. Where does this end? Are we sure that ALL we are doing with a maddeningly complex code like DNA is ensuring a woman can bear a child? What if they missed something and the child was born with traits (physical, mental, emotional ) that the body and mind were never designed to deal with? We have the technology to manipulate DNA but you should not play with something until you have mastered an understanding of it. I do not feel that there is enough caution being taken in going this route.

What took a billion years to evolve, man thinks he can improve on in the wink of an eye, when in fact he still does not completely understand (or believe) the original developmental (evolutionary) process. I have to play the devils advocate here. Humanity will always strive to have the power over life itself. Our mortality sees to that. Genetically modified babies is what I call progression in human science. But it does make me cringe a little. What if the makeup is completely wrong like with previous attempts in crops(monsanto anyone?) and it starts reaping havoc to humanity itself. Something like this must be done in baby steps, very VERY small baby steps. But unfortunately with monsters like monsanto paying to be protected politically I hold little faith in the company that did this to follow the strict guidelines that are needed.
I don't consider this immoral at all. It has a Frankenstein vibe to it but I am not sold on the whole we should not go there arguments so far. It seems to be religious people getting angry about it. I just don't share their sentiment.
In my 4 years of research on the subject of GM anything and everything, I have found that the "bible" is the most technologically advanced book ever written. If we understand that the angelic hosts, (both good and fallen), must use technology to insert themselves into our dimension, and some of them, (the fallen ones), have been trading their technological secrets for eons with the power structures of our planet,(the so called "elites"). One of the calling cards is this GM experimentation with all sorts of seed, human dna inclusive! According to our first civilization our gene pool has already been updated with foreign dna. For the people quoting the bible and saying having an open mind is a bad thing. Why don't you try it? I mean really try to research where those bible stories come from. Research why the book was put together and who put the stories into one book…alot of you will be surprised to know that we have already genetically enhanced corn, rice and bananas etc… do some research.
I did try having an open mind for 20 years. I lived in a world of confusion & meaninglessness until I read the King James Bible. Then everything came together & made sense. Don't let darkness rob you of your salvation by believing the deceptions about supposed origins of the Biblical record. No man could have written the Bible without the inspiration of God. It is a communication from outside of our 4 dimensional world recorded by 40 different authors with a consistent message. Only God could get such consistency from 40 different people over a period of centuries.

If the bible was written by under the inspiration of a being powerful enough to cross dimensions (as you also said) and be called a GOD, is it too much to ask that that God get the little things even close to being feasible? The very idea for instance that 2 of every animal species lived within walking distance of Noah's house and would fit on boat of biblically stated dimensions is simply unforgivable in any being to be called "God". Look at the Bible, then look at the world around you. If the facts don't line up which is wrong? Reality as you can plainly see it for yourself with your own eyes? Or the writings of a goat herder who thought the world ceased to exist beyond the borders of his own experience? Unfortunately it's unlikely that this type of practice will stop. Instead it's going to expand into a global phenomenon. Understand that this has already happened to a great number of species across the globe, with their gene pools containing artificially inserted genes. Most new science goes through a period of catastophe, so unless somehow everyone in the world miraculously agrees to not pursue GMO humans and human animal hybrids, it's time to get ready for the real deal sci-fi future, and probably one filled with a lot of genetic disaster.
