Goodall says that since we can expect similar outcomes for our health as those which animals experience following a GM diet

Ok. Based on a rather large meta-analysis, there is no evidence for concern. Is Goodall aware of this? It sounds like she’s being an activist, not a scientist on this issue.

Prevalence and impacts of genetically engineered feedstuffs on livestock populations
    JAS 2014 Vol. 92 No. 10, p. 4255-4278

In one example, one pig farmer in Denmark is sounded the alarm on what he believes are deformities caused by genetically modified feed, crippling the pigs he raises.

One anecdotal example based on what one farmer “believes”? That’s what you’ve come up with? Wow. That’s pathetic.

He blames glyphosate—the herbicide found on genetically modified crops.

Oh! So the farmer doesn’t even blame GM crops themselves, but rather a herbicide. Yet another example of a pseudo-journalist who can’t tell the difference between a herbicide and a plant.

Truthfully, farmers across the nation have reported ill effects

Ha! Starting your sentence with the word “truthfully” doesn’t mean that the BS that follows has an greater merit.

It’s sad to see a great scientist like Goodall succumb to hysteria and pseudoscience. Shame on you Christina Sarich for contributing to this nonsense.

“The FDA’s spokesperson at the same press conference has no comment, but the website states essentially that there is no difference between GM foods and non-GM foods – which is patently untrue.”

Is the FDA accusing the U.S. Patent office of fraud or incompetence?

  3. Such beauty.

The feds need to reclassify marijuana and to quit interfering with legal marijuana clinics and suppliers.
