This information is entirely subjective and not supported by scientific data. The safety risks of vaccines are rare when compared to those of having disease and additionally the lack of means to prevent disease.

As a maths and biology student I always find the whole vaccine hysteria so infuriating. There’s no link between this vaccine and adverse reactions. Vaccines don’t create resistant strains, they train the body to fight off infection it’s not the same as antibiotics.
The whole vaccine hysteria only seems to happen in the US too, there does seem to be a major failure in science education in the states.

Christy: I think your comment is very well put. One correction however. There is no vaccine for TB. In fact this disease is still active and treatment is difficult because the strains are now more virulent than ever..

One last thing. To the author, I think you are taking Bill Gates’ comments way out of context. It’s been a platform of the United Nations and other international health organizations to make birth control available to women in developing nations for decades now. This is nothing new, and it shouldn’t come as a surprise. You can read for yourself on many of these organizations’ websites.

You have to ask yourself, how many deaths can the HPV vaccine be causing for it still not to be public knowledge? Compared to the rate at which birth control can bring down unwanted pregnancy? If you actually had all the numbers written out I think you would realize that it is ridiculous to suggest that “vaccine deaths” are any kind of public policy.

My comment is probably going to get deleted, but for what it’s worth, I would like to put my two cents in.

In the interest of full disclosure, I chose to receive the Gardasil vaccine 5 years ago, and I am completely fine. I never experienced any side effects.

I chose to receive it because I felt that the risk of contracting one of the strains of HPV that can lead to cervical cancer was significantly higher than the risk of a bad reaction to the vaccine. I am in my mid-twenties and I have two friends my age who have contracted relatively risky forms of HPV. They were told to have pelvic exams every 6 months indefinitely to make sure no cancer was developing.

(There are multiple strands of HPV. Some of them never cause any symptoms, and go away on their own. Some of them can lead to cervical cancer and possibly death).

I am not going to claim that all vaccines are 100% safe for everyone. I am also not going to defend Monsanto. But I would like to urge everyone to consider both sides of the issue and try to do more research before panicking. The truth is that vaccines do play a valuable role in promoting our health, and that is why many infectious diseases that killed and maimed people (especially children) only 100 years ago have been eradicated. (Smallpox, TB, polio). The vaccines for these diseases have been around for decades and by now we would know if they were dangerous.

I love Windows and Microsoft. I cannot say I support or agree with all philanthropy such as vaccines. I know that vaccines can be very bad and have actually led to other sicknesses and death.

HPV is not herpes, it is a simple virus that usually clears up completely and goes away without treatment. Avoiding early sexual activiy is the solution to avoiding it. Having good nutrition and healthy lifestyle is all we need. Bill gates and monsanto want to keep us from having a normal healthy balanced diet too, as the create genetically modified seeds producing foods we are allergic to and kills off the bee population, as well as cross pollinates with normal crops on farms all over the place, ruining the entire area’s food sources.
