Taking a stand against the agricultural takeover of the United States and worldwide, a group of Occupy DC members began to protest outside the offices of Monsanto. Taking part in an attempt to help raise awareness over the atrocities committed by mega corporations like Monsanto, Occupy members as far away as Portland helped to organize the national protest. In the call to action statement provided by Occupy Portland, the movement stated that the protest was to highlight the fact that “corporations buy off legislators and craft legislation that serves the interests of corporations and not people.” According to Occupy DC, about 12 members were arrested.

Protesters were told by D.C. police officers to remove themselves from the Monsanto office, where they formed a line around the building. One police officer, William Farr, said that around 50 protesters gathered around the building. Police threatened protesters with arrest if they did not move away from the doors, and 12 were ultimately arrested. According to the report, 10 were arrested for ‘blocking the entrance’ and 2 were arrested for crossing a police line. One of the individuals arrested was an American University student doing a report on police brutality.

During their protest at Monsanto corporation, protesters chanted things like ”Monsanto and ALEC, corporations are making us sick.” Protesters were even quoted as saying that Monsanto ”is doing more to make a sustainable world impossible than almost any corporation on the planet.”

Monsanto was declared worst company of 2011 for their numerous acts against nature and public health. In addition to running slave rings and controlling U.S. diplomats behind the scenes to push their agenda, Monsanto is also ensuring that you have no idea whether or not you are eating their genetically modified foods. Squashing labeling initiatives all over the nation through admitted influence, Monsanto wants to make sure you’re in the dark about their latest GMO creations.

    McDonald's order 2020:

"I'll have the Monsanto burger with the round-up bun and a side order of extra large locust-free fries. To drink, I will have the modified high fructose corn syrup with super-weed extract cola. That will be all thank you."

"Would you like to super mutate your order for $15.00 more?"

    "No thanks."

"That'll be $57.45. Please pull up to the next window."

"Can I get a complimentary colostomy bag with that please!"

"Sure, pull up to the next window."

Monsanto may have let the genie out of the bottle regarding the genetic manipulation of the food supply. Case in point, the round-up resistant gene that allows for these crops to potentially have zero pests/weeds have seen these pests genetically mutate to become resistant to the original resistant Monsanto gene. Now we have super bugs where even more pesticides are needed than before Monsanto opened the Pandora's box. And some of the weeds that Monsanto's round up ready is supposed to kill have also mutated and now their roots penetrate even deeper (away from poison) and destroy the water supply for the actual crops…leaving the farmland untenable. Can you sue Monsanto? NO!

Monsanto ate the apple God said to leave alone. Just some food for thought,… puns are totally intended.

What happens to your body when you injest this food? No long term studies are available, no one knows. But one thing is for sure; Monsanto's business practices from litigation, to media suppresion, to lobbying for favorable legislation would make many people angry if they knew the whole story.

If Monsanto were forced to pay for illegal seed dispersion, ruined crops, ruined farmland, ruined ecosystems, fraudulent litigation, fraudulent forclosure of farmland, and the effects on human health in general, and criminal suppresion of information, this company would be trillions of dollars in debt. It would be insolvent.

If Satan were the CEO of this company, he would want complete control over the world food supply. Monsanto appears to want that too. Hopefully their motives are only profit driven.

And to think all of this can be accomplished through plasmids and recombinant DNA.

Imagine: Monsanto is going to lose its war on humanity sooner or later. Yes, they have been at this game for a long, long time. Democracy will one day win.

Remember: There is strength in numbers.

Remember: We won't allow any setbacks to discourage us.

Well done Occupy DC! Readers are encouraged to visit the 'Agent Orange Action Group' at http://www.aoag.org for further information on Monsanto Agent Orange. Four MILLION innocent Vietnamese have suffered generation after generation due to Monsanto Agent Orange. Thank You Monsanto!
