I think you are misinformed. Turmeric is a real alternative to toxic drugs for treating cancer and other ailments and diseases. Turmeric has been proven effective and has also been proven more effective than some prescription drugs and has virtually no side effects. I suggest you research the many health benefits of turmeric (curcumin) and milk thistle (to name only two) natural remedies before you discount natural alternatives to expensive prescription drugs and their many side effects. It may save YOUR life down the road someday.

Tumeric is amazing and you can literally put this spice on anything. There isn't much of a taste to it, but the health benefits are amazing.. Vitamin D, Omega 3 fish oils, exercise..anything and everything. As Suzanne Somers stated, eat as if your life depends on it. Because of all the chemicals out there, believe me, it makes a huge difference.. make sure you take care and keep up on the latest!!

While this is all hopeful news, and we can only pray these studies continue to lead the way to a cure for cancer… the truth is that people die of cancer, and they could drink these natural compounds from a bottle 24-7, and cancer will still get them in the end. My friend tried all this stuff — and honestly? Her life was not prolonged – and she decided to just go ahead and enjoy her beloved Mexican food, and other things she loved – and just enjoy what life she had left. She was vegan all her life, healthy, fit – did not drink/smoke/do drugs/etc…. and we learned that cancer doesn't target unhealthy, unfit people only.. it does not discriminate. So enjoy your life. Eat healthy, live healthy – but know that life can be cruelly short. Be kind, be honest…. be happy.

Become a vegetarian and make sure you only eat plants which are organic and you will live cancer free…..well..granted you did not inherit cancer genes from your parents who's been eating pesticide laden plants and live in an area where there is a nuclear fall out! Common sense is not very common anymore….really! Just look at how Californians were snookered into believing that proposition 37 is bad for them. The evil corporation, Monsanto, just spent 45 million to make sure daily tv propaganda goes on and on until every single simple- minded citizen believes the proposition is "bad"! Everyone educate yourself and watch the free movies online: "Thrive" and "Zeitgeist". I take care of critically ill patients. I used to give chemotheraphy. Just the thought of it now makes me ill.
