These are very vaugue and broad accusations that are presented as basically heresay w/o evidence as to the quantitification and scope of food adulterants!I was a USDA FSIS veterinarian for a time several years ago.I know what goes on.

I have no doubt that there is food being sold with adulteration, but specify where? when?, how much?, how many consumed?

If I want to exercise carelessness and consume adulterated food I am sure that I can find someone or corporation who will sell me or feed me roadkill. The local kennel ration toco joint or chineese kitchen serving sweet and sour mystery meat is your call and the local health department's gameboard.

Are the big packers going sell a crappy product..... I do not think so! Whoever supplies Krogers or Safeway or Publix or Vons or whoever ...are they going to jepordize such accounts, let alone foster a public relation nightmare by selling unsafe food?

The American Cattleman produces a safe wholesome product. Packers are not going to sell a unsafe product. Imported beef and McDonalds or TocoBell is a different matter. The local Mexican or oriental rat hotel is also a different story!

Yes veterinary drugs are used sometimes but heavily regulated and misuse gets a vet's license suspended or gets him in jail.

I assure you while I was on duty sick animals were not slaughtered and producers whose product tested for residues did not stay in business very long unless they sold it to gypsies who sold it off the roadside in little pick up trucks with freezers in the back bed.
