@ J & B Fog: The pesticides contain xenoestrogens that mimic estrogen in women and girls and settle in fatty tissue in the breast and uterus. Hence the early pubertal development that has been observed in girls as young as 8 years of age. The xenoestrogens could also be responsible for the rise in obesity in some populations. Excess xenoestrogens could also be changing the sex of embryos. There is a community in Sarnia, Ontario in Canada, affected by severe pollution with heavy metals and other toxins that also act like xenoestrogesn and where no boys have been born for several years: the sex ratio of newborns has totally collapsed to 100% girls being born.

Heather, there is a great series of books by Peter Menzel — the one about food is called What the World Eats. It’s full of pictures like this, 30-some families, i think, from all over the world. More developing countries than this shows.

Another of the books is called Material World and shows families, outside their homes, with all their belongings.

The third book, Women in the Material World, features revealing interviews with the matriarchs of the above families.

I got them all from our library, and my mom has been reading them for weeks. Fascinating!

All I know is that when I lived in a city that had flouride in the water I never had a cavity. About 7 year ago I moved to one that doesnt, NOW I get cavities. So now I want to moved back.

It’s not GM Crops thats causing young girls to grow breasts, but more likely caused by another product made by monsanto!! It’s a bovine growth hormone thats injected into young cows and they have gone after News papers and TV stations that dared say anything about it and Florida has one really good case if you research and a few reporters of that Florida TV station were fired and seen to it they cannot get work in the news industry, Monsanto is a monster that needs to be shut down.

Maybe next time only have two slices of pizza? It’s called smaller servings.
