A recent study shows that 90% of unborn babies’ umbilical cords contain bisphenol a (BPA), a chemical used in the production of polycarbonate plastics and epoxy resins. Given this information and multiple other studies with similar results, it is rather apparent that there is reason to be alarmed.
According to laboratory tests conducted by the Environmental Working Group (EWG), Bisphenol A (BPA) has been found in 9 out of 10 unborn babies’ umbilical cords. Not only has BPA never been detected before in the umbilical cords of babies, but it has now been found in such a high quantity never before imagined.
