‘Bat Flu’ Scare Hits Media Among Weaponized Bird Flu Release Debate
Amid the controversy surrounding the potential release of heavily weaponized H5N1 bird flu, scientists are now reporting that they have found evidence of flu in bats, and state that the risk to humans is unclear. Being labeled as ‘bat flu’, the discovery marks the first documented report of a flu virus in winged mammals. For now, scientists have not been able to grow the virus and are unaware of how easily the virus can spread. The news shocked many scientists who previously thought that the flu had already been discovered in all possible animals.
Sleeping Pills Lead to Higher Risk of Cancer, Premature Death
Most people know that sleeping, especially during ‘normal’ nightly hours, is important for the body. Enough of it has been shown to be essential for academic success in children, while a lack of sleep could be contributing to excess weight. It is all too often that people have disruptive sleep cycles and can not fall asleep initially at night, and so sleep medication is turned to as a solution. Consuming sleep medication not only completely ignores the underlying problem of what is causing sleep issues, but also leads to an increased risk of cancer and premature death.
The Startling Disconnect of Humanity: How Corruption and Injustice Roam Free
An attitude of self preservation pervades modern society today, disconnecting the overall power of the human spirit. Often people are taught through various media outlets that life is to be lived with a ‘dog eat dog world’ philosophy. Struggling to survive in current times has given rise to a more apathetic and sometimes ruthless humanity. Of course these testing times are majority-wise not a result of the common man, but those at the top of the proverbial pyramid; the common man is the one that is most affected.
3 Powerful Yet Natural Fat Loss Methods Without Dangerous Diet Pills
The FDA is setting up to approve the first prescription weight-loss medication since 1999, but will this risky appetite suppressant really lead to effective fat loss? And more importantly, at what cost? Trendy fat loss pills have a history of being recalled over serious health concerns, in addition to being called out for simply not working. With 75 million obese adults in the U.S., and an obesity rate of nearly 35%, something must be done. The most potent form of lasting fat loss starts in your kitchen, and it costs absolutely nothing.
Judge Throws out Organic Farmers’ Recent Case Against Monsanto
For years Monsanto has been trying to take out American family farms and dominate the agricultural industry with their genetically modified seeds. Between 1997 and 2010, 144 lawsuits were filed by Monsanto against American family farmers, with an additional 700 being settled out of court. Recently, farmers made a firm decision to institute massive resistance against the biotech corporation by launching their own landmark lawsuit against Monsanto for contaminating crop fields with GMOs. The landmark case has now been thrown out by a New York federal court.
Antibiotics Shown to be Ineffective at Treating Sinus Infection
In 2010, approximately 29.8 million adults were diagnosed with sinusitis, a sinus infection. A very large amount of those diagnoses resulted in doctors prescribing antibiotics in order to treat the problem, but new research shows that antibiotics are not even effective at treating sinus infection. In fact, a placebo was shown to be just as effective. For the study, main author Dr. Jane M Garbutt and her team examined data involving 166 adults stricken with acute sinus infections.
‘Euthanasia Rollercoaster’ Hailed by Anti-Human Scientists
With the designated purpose of ‘euthanasia and execution’ , the “Euthanasia Coaster” is a concept for a real steel roller coast that has been created to “show the future of humans and technology.” The creator of the coaster, Julijonas Urbonas, says the machine is engineered to take the life of a human being with “elegance and euphoria.” The idea of the coaster is to send out 24 people, all of which come back dead. A number of anti-human scientists are now hailing the concept as a method of execution that ‘highlights the issues that come with life extension’.
Monsanto Pays 93 Million to Victims In Settlement
Monsanto tentatively agreed to a $93 million settlement with some residents of Nitro, West Virginia. Nitro is a small town that got its name from manufacturing explosives during WWI. It was also the site of a Monsanto chemical plant that manufactured 2,4,5-T herbicide that was half of the Agent Orange recipe. Herbicide 2,4,5-T was contaminated with the caustic by-product dioxin. This settlement may open the floodgates to successfully suing Monsanto for its poison.
4 Proofs the USDA Doesn’t Care About Your Health
Despite being tasked to defend public health, the USDA instead continues to not only go against public interest, but recklessly endanger the public with unacceptable and outright ludicrous policies that threaten your health on a routine basis. Perhaps most compelling is the fact that not only does the USDA allow for the widespread use of GMO crops, which have been pinpointed by scientific research as harmful to your health, but the USDA has now announced that they will be extraditing the approval process for these genetically modified creations.
Toxic Splenda Essentials Falsely Marketed to Health-Conscious Consumers
Executed as a tactic to trick consumers, the Corn Refiners Association in 2010 decided to rename high-fructose corn syrup to ‘corn sugar’ as it would appear on food labels. The change was contrived by the organizations in response to millions of consumers recognizing the negative health consequences associated with the ingredient. Now, another sinister product is being marketed to the public differently, also because millions of consumers are recognizing the harm surrounding its consumption.
Animal Protein Shown to Reduce Bone Fracture Risk
Some individuals believe that protein negatively impacts bone health, but research shows just the opposite. In fact, a recent study shows that individuals with less than 15 percent of their calories coming from protein are nearly at a 3 times higher risk of having a fracture than those with higher protein intake. There is, however, a fine line between healthy animal protein and unhealthy animal protein.
Conclusive Evidence That BP Misrepresented Gulf Oil Spill Sent To Congress
Gulf Rescue Alliance (GRA) has just sent a briefing package to the Attorney Generals of Alabama and Louisiana which presents evidence they believe has never seen the light of day concerning the how and why of the Deepwater Horizon Disaster and subsequent release of toxic oil into the Gulf—oil that is still gushing from various seabed fractures and fissures. The report outlines the unmentioned existence of a 3rd Macondo well (the real source of the explosion, DWH sinking and ensuing oil spill).
Common Paint-Stripping Chemical Linked to at Least 13 Deaths
Common paint-stripping products containing a little-known chemical known as methylene chloride could not only be posing serious risks to the health of home improvement workers, but home owners and the general public as a whole. Now linked to at least 13 deaths, the true negative effects of these methylene chloride-containing products are only now fully coming to light thanks to an investigation by researchers at Michigan State University.
Ten Steps to Optimum Health – Part 2
Almost four decades ago, I was taught a different approach to health and healing than what is now taught as western medical practices. I was taught how to find simplicity in the complexity of life. As stated, the cure is always found in the cause. We must always seek the cause for health challenges and then the signs, signals and symptoms will simply disappear. I was also taught we must stop doing those things that contribute to dis-ease first and then start doing those things that contribute to health.
H5N1 Bird Flu Effects Downplayed as WHO Calls for Weaponized Strain to Go Public
A new study was released that shows the United Nation’s prediction that the H5N1 bird flu kills nearly 60% of infected people may be overblown and this type of flu may only have a 1% death rate. The United Nations World Health Organization (WHO) counted 586 cases of H5N1 bird flu and 346 people died. But WHO may have failed to consider millions of people who contracted the H5N1 flu with only mild symptoms.
Ten Steps to Optimum Health – Part 1
For over 40 years, I have been a voracious reader. Back in the day, I subscribed to 25 journals or more each month. In addition, I tried to read two or more books per month. Daily, I read multiple reference books and both the New York and LA Times cover to cover. Today, most of what I read comes from the internet and books, hours upon hours of research from one subject to the next. I receive dozens of so-called email “newsletters” and peruse websites reading the latest of “stuff” out there. And most of it is “stuff”.
How to Prevent Asthma Before Turning to Harsh Pharmaceuticals
Asthma is a health ailment that strikes both children and adults with breathing and respiratory issues. Approximately 17.5 million adults had asthma in 2009 and 7 million children had asthma in 2010. Causing wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing, the western medical establishment suggests (as always) taking a pharmaceutical drug. But before you do, I would suggest education yourself on not only the harms of such drugs, but how natural solutions can help you as well.
